The Lake Placid Curling Club will be hosting Learn to Curl events at 3:15pm on October 20th and 27th at the Saranac Civic Center for ages 14 and up.
No experience is necessary!
The rules of the game will be taught along with on-ice instruction.
Games will be played.
A $20 fee per person will cover one or both sessions and can be applied to club dues when you join the club.
Wear warm loose-fitting clothing and bring clean soft soled shoes
(keeping the ice clean or dirt is very important in curling)
Starting this fall, the Lake Placid Curling Club will be holding its weekly competitions on Sunday afternoons (3:15-6:15pm) at the Saranac Lake Civic Center. Stay tuned for membership details.
The Lake Placid Curling Club participated in the Petersham Spring Fling Bonspiel April 4-7 and managed to make it as Runners Up in the B-Event.

This marks only the third time since 1970 that the USA team has defeated Canada in Montreal.

In the "A" Division:
Team McCabe over Team Fry (by forfeit)
Team Stearns over Team Benson (by skips stones)
Team McCabe wins the "A" Division Championship
In the "B" Division:
Team McLean over Team Magnus
Team Kobe wins the "B" Division Championship
